More active than ever
While the work to support communities at the forefront of social change has been increasingly challenging, the pandemic has not stopped us; we are more active than ever. Prospera’s members continue to partner with activists and organizations on the ground and to identify new and creative ways to support their work. Despite the crisis, women’s funds have only become more adaptable, resilient, and sustainable: women’s funds’ flexibility allowed for an agile response to the needs of movements and grassroots organizations and for resource mobilization where most needed. In the past year, women’s funds increased and doubled their support for women and gender justice organizations, activists, networks, and movements worldwide!
