Women’s and feminist funds are public fundraising foundations that work to realize the power of grassroots women, girls, trans, non-binary and intersex movements around the world by providing them with sustained financial and other resources to realize their vision of social justice.
Our members approach to social justice:
Support new and creative strategies for sustainable growth and prosperity
Uphold activists at the center of our work. Women, girls, trans, non binary and intersex people as the experts and agents of change for equality in their communities
Promote the inclusion of diverse perspectives, particularly those at the margins of society
Address complex social issues with locally-driven and owned solutions
Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices among women and feminist movements and organizations
Strengthen and scale effective solutions.
How funds in our network work
-1- Mobilize financial resources, assets, and skills, and provide direct grants to local women’s and feminist organizations and movements.
-2- Strategically support women, girls, and trans* people, and amplify their voices.
-3- Build networks among the groups they support for greater influence, power, impact, and opportunities to scale.
